Foreword
Lee Sungmin's life is almost perfect, except for his struggle in trying to tie Lee Eunhyuk around himself; In the end, he lost the battle. He never remembered how sweet life can be after that incident, until he walked in the White 1st person Sungmin
I woke up to a headache and an unplanned day. I washed my face with some cold water to regain awareness, and washed away my sorrow…Walking down the stairs in my fluffy bunny slippers, I looked through my pink cell phone to find a person to talk to. JungSoo…YoungWoon… Eunhyuk..-Eunhyuk! My stomach tightened as I read his names on the tiny screen. I don’t want to delete our past, but I don’t want to hold on to it…thinking for a few moments, I set his contact as “secret”. Let’s just hide those memories, Eunhyuk.
I flipped my phone in my hand, and my brain focusing on yesterday. All the things that ran through my mind reminded of him, and I was surprised who “him” was. Cho Kyuhyun. At the thought of the name, my hands went automatically to my jean’s pocket. It was still there, the magical piece of paper. I felt a light bulb going on top of my head, and I ran out the door.
-------------------------------------
1st person Kyuhyun
It was a normal day, sunny and bright. I was standing there mixing egg and butter. Jongwoon was setting trays of coconut bread into the oven, and Ryeowook decorating the newly baked mini pandoro bread with sugar. Everything was going normal, and we were about the flip the sign to “open”. Jongwoon smiled at me and we were ready. I took out baking pans and shaped the to-be brioche into white cupcake cups. My fingers ran around the dough and it formed a swirl. Jongwoon was now watching Ryeo dotting the pandoros with sugar, his eyes filled with loving kindness. I was secretly jealous of Jongwoon hyung, he can express his passionate love for Ryeowook hyung publically.
I just handed Jongwoon hyung the tray of my pandoros as Ryeowook welcomed our first customer of the day. It was a young girl dressed in a sapphire blue dress, decorated with white flowers. She shyly ordered two diplomats and one lemonade. She smiled brightly at me, which seemed to have made my day better. Ryeo saw my beaming smile, and joked that “Kyu looks like an idiot in love”. Aha, I was; I certainly was. I was so shocked at myself being attracted to a person I just met. My lips curled more as I thought of my Sungmin.
“Welcome~” Ryeo’s voice welcomed the next customer.
I raised my head from the stuffed empanada, and my hands dropped. It was him; the innocent eyes, the slightly curled light brown hair, and a loose panda shirt. He wasn’t surprised to see me though, so he must’ve came looking for me. My heart jumped at the thought of that.
“Hi…” He greeted Ryeowook.
“Hello~ How may I help you?” Ryeowook certainly didn’t know Sungmin. Sungmin looked straight at me.
“Hi, Sungmin~” I took off my gloves and walked toward the front counter. Ryeowook looked at me in confusion. “Hyung, this is Sungmin.”
“Hehehe~ Hi! You have a nice bakery~” Sungmin complimented us as he was led to a chair by Ryeowook.
“Thank you, glad you like It ^^” I replied happily, “This is Ryeowook hyung, and Jongwoon hyung is behind there~ Jongwoon hyung!”
Jongwoon poked his head behind the wall, and waved. I explained, “He’s there controlling the temperature, so he can’t really leave there.” Sungmin didn’t seem to be bothered, and Ryeowook gave me a look. I knew that look, and I knew that he knows how I felt about Sungmin.
“It really changed my life. When we split up, something changed, permanently, in me. My heart sort of broke that day, and it will never be the same.”

He finally ended it… Sungmin rubbed his head, trying to regain his self conscious. After all my effort…it’s finally over…
I’m sorry Sungmin. I’m sorry Sungmin…I’m sorry…
Sungmin broke into tears. “No! I don’t need him! I’m better off without…” His breath was getting more uneven as his eyes fogged up more. The water drops glistened in the sun against his rosy face. How can he leave me…Eunhyuk… I still love you… “Eunhyuk…” He stood up, and walked slowly across the street. He wasn’t about to sit here and be laughed at by the world.
Either he was too concentrated, or was daydreaming while walking down the street, Sungmin didn’t hear the car’s horn directed at him. He didn’t even have time to react, as he was pushed to the side.
“Ar-are you okay?” A deep and strong voice over him asked nervously.
“Ye-yeah…” Sungmin blinked in confusion, feeling no pain.
“Let’s get you to the hospital…you don’t look so good…” Ignoring his response, the stranger held Sungmin into a hug, and hurried to his shining black Lamborghini. He opened the door swiftly but without much sound, and gently set Sungmin into the cushioning seats in the back; and himself in the driver’s seat.
Sungmin stared blankly, as if trying to recite what just happened. The stranger watched his struggling expression through the mirror, and smiled, “Oh yeah, my name is Kyuhyun. Cho Kyuhyun.”
“Hu-huh? Oh! Um…my name is…” Sungmin jumped a slight in surprise, and heard Kyuhyun’s soft husky giggles, “My name is Sungmin. Lee Sungmin.”
“Well then hello Lee Sungmin.” Kyuhyun chuckled and greeted in his soothing voice.
“Oh, hi!” Sungmin replied joyfully.
“May I ask you, why were you walking like a mummy out there?” Kyuhyun stopped in front of the stop sign and pulled the brakes.
“Oh…” The happiness from his eyes slid away, replaced by a stream of sadness.
“I’m sorry…” Realizing he had said the wrong thing, Kyuhyun apologized.
“N-no it’s okay…” Sungmin replied half-heartily .
I dont’ remember what I was thinking about…probably about him…it’s not his fault that we weren’t meant to be, right? I wasn’t paying attention to anything in the world, especially the road…I would be in heaven, I hope, now if it wasn’t for Kyuhyun! Thank goodness! I can’t seem to put things together now…it was like bam bam bam and I was on the ground! How fast!
~Sungmin.
Something, something pushed my legs to run over there to save that person. I don’t know what urged me to do that, risking my life to save someone I just met…maybe it’s because of his innocent eyes that touched me. I am determined to stay by him to protect that innocence.
~Kyuhyun.
“We’re here.” Kyuhyun said breaking the awkward silence and parked the car in front of the hospital.
“Oh…” Sungmin rubbed his eyes like a sleepy bunny.
Control control control… Kyuhyun sighed deeply as he opened the door for Sungmin, and watched the snoopy shirted prince hobble out of the car. He led Sungmin into the doors and up the stairs, finally stopping and waving as he spotted Hangeng. “Hyung!”
Hangeng looked up from his clipboard and pulled a smile as Kyuhyun waved, “Hi Kyu.”
“Hi hyung~ Can you check to see if he’s got any wounds?”
“Yeah sur-“ “Wait what?” Just when Hangeng was about to answer, a red-haired figure cut in the conversation, “WOUNDS?”
“Uh, yeah?” Kyuhyun said awkwardly, he did not appreciate Kim Heechul’s appearance.
Heechul eyed Kyuhyun suspiciously, then Sungmin. So these two had some story? Who is this person? I like his shirt… He extended his hand toward Sungmin, “Hello there, I’m Heechul.”
“Hi, I’m Sungmin.” Sungmin held his hand and shook it. Nice hair.
“Hi Sungmin sshi~ So how did you meet this kid right here? When did you guys started? How wasn’t I informed what did you guys do did he hurt you TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME!!” Heechul’s eyes glistened with excitement as he carelessly threw question at Sungmin.
“Hyung!” Kyuhyun stood in front of Sungmin and blocked him out of Heechul’s view, “He was almost in a car crash…”
“WHAT? WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME? HANGENG HOW COME YOU DIDN’T KNOW?” The volcano exploded.
“Heechul, I was going to check on him but you kept talking.” Hangeng replied in his (JuJu’s note: HOT *cough* just remember to delete this xD ) Chinese accent.
“THEN WHY DIDN’T YOU SAY SO!!” Pushing Sungmin toward Hangeng, Heechul stormed out.
“It-it’s alright…I don’t feel anything weird.” Sungmin rubbed his head.
“Are you sure? You don’t want to let Hangeng hyung check you up?” Kyuhyun stopped Sungmin worriedly.
“Yeah… Sorry to trouble you.”
“N-no, it’s okay…” Kyuhyun stuttered and stood there, watching his pink bunny stepping down the stairs. I can’t just let him leave like this…”Sungmin!”
Sungmin turned his head around in confusion.
“Um…” Surprised by his own words, Kyuhyun stomped on the ground in embarrassment. His hands reached into his pockets and took out a little white piece of paper. “This is my number, feel free to call anytime.”
Sungmin tilt his head curiously as took the paper and read the neatly typed words. White Wish Bakery. Xxx-xxx-xxxx.He snickered, “Can I count this as an advertisement?”
“N-no! I didn’t mean it that way! I thought… you know, we can be friends.” Kyuhyun looked down, Embarassed.
“Haha, I know. I was teasing you~”
“Phew~ You scared me there!” Kyuhyun let out a weak nervous laugh as Sungmin smiled at him.
Looking down at the card again, Sungmin continued, “I’ll definitely come check it out. I have to go now, I’m sorry. And, thanks for saving my life.” Waving one last time, Sungmin walked down the stairs.
“Thanks for saving my life.” Sungmin, you know, I should’ve said that to you. We just met but- Thanks for brightening up my life.
~Kyuhyun.
“Hyung?” Sungmin spoke softly into the phone, on the other end was Park JungSoo, his older brother who is currently living in Incheon.
“Sungmin! How are you?” A cheerful voice danced into his ears.
“I’m good, Uhm.. hyung…” Sungmin bit his pouty lips.
“WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY MINNIE…”
Sungmin giggled. “ No Hyung! Its me~ I’m serious…”
“What happened to my baby brother? Who’s the butt hole that made him like this?” JungSo questions
“Hyung…” Unable to hold his feelings, Sungmin broke down crying. “Eunhyuk…h-he left…”
“AISH. Sungmin mah boy! You don’t need him! I knew he was a bad person… Always looking at that Donghae kid-”
“HYUNG. You said you liked him!”
“Umm Well… ANYWAYS… Sungmin…don’t be like this…it’s not your fault, it’s just that he’s not your other half! You two aren’t each other’s equals if he’s only a quarter!”
“I know hyung, but…” Sungmin sobbed.
“Sungmin…remember, every end is a new beginning…you’ll meet her- uh him, sometime soon! Or maybe he’s…. Sitting somewhere waiting for you? He could be anywhere waiting for you!” JungSoo comforted his little brother through the phone. His heart tightened when he heard his precious baby brother heartbroken.
“Oh-okay hyung…thanks…” Wiping tears off his puffed up eyes, Sungmin smiled weakly. He bid his goodbyes and hung up the phone. The worn out body collapsed into bed, and the pink eyelids closed.
